How do Stormwater pumping stations work?

As an area starts to flood – and the level of water inside the pump station chamber starts to rise – the float switch will then be activated. This causes the pump to activate. Then the water is continuously pumped away from your property, until the level of flood water decreases. The float switch then drops back to its original position. If the level of water rises again, the process is repeated and your buildings and property will remain protected.

We also sell accessories for additional peace of mind. Such as high-water alarms, which can be added to the station. The alarm will sound if the level of water becomes dangerously high and will alert you to any potential issues.
